This weekend, I signed up with the Cal Sailing club, and started windsurfing again.

It’s been about 15 years since I last tried, and man – have things changed. The boards got wide, and the sails got see-through…

Everybody told me it would be like riding a bike, but I found myself falling into the water for most of the first day, just like a complete novice. By the end of the day, though, I was actually getting some speed, and it was great.

The puppies were v funny though. They still have their stitches from getting the chop, and are not allowed in the water yet, which killed them. They just wanted to get wet! The next thing they know, their daddy gets in the water, and they’re not allowed to come with. One of my friends here was holding them for me, and the entire time I was on the water, I heard them crying… Next weekend, they’ll be able to come out into the water with me, and I’mreally hoping that they’ll like to sit on the board while I sail. That would be cool!
